DB2 consultant Martin Hubel and associates have just opened up a great new resource for DB2 users to share DB2 solutions, "DB-HQ".
Many DBAs, System Programmers, and heavyweight end-users write SQL, REXX procedures,
and shell scripts to accomplish data movement tasks. Experience shows that writing an SQL
statement from scratch can take between an hour to several days, depending on its
complexity. DB-HQ is an easy desktop reference allows new DBAs and users to learn by
example. SQL
predicates can easily be modified in a pop-up notepad window, and SQL can be shipped via
FTP to any DB2 system in your shop.
DB-HQ is a framework for storing and sharing SQL, procedures and tips about DB2.
The topic tree makes it easy to find the tip or technique that can save you time and is organized into three categories: data movement, DB2 For Linux, UNIX, WIndows, and DB2 for Z/OS and OS/390.

At IDUG 2002 - Europe there was a new DB2 newsletter (DB2 Times) announced and launched as a joint venture of four consultanting companies.
