Systems Management Department

The Mardon Systems Management Department contains the core expert personnel, and service delivery and continuous improvement missions for our Business Organizational and Systems Management practice.

The central concept of Business Organizational Services is the use of the Mardon2000™ methods utilizing organizational models including:

  • Greiner's Five Phases of Growth

  • The McKinsey 7-S Theory

  • Booz-Allen Centerless Corporation Model

Each of the above models and theory are applied within our practice to bring you the most comprehensive, cost effective solutions to your management, organizationally, and systems inhibitors.

McKinsey 7-S Theory

A conceptual aid such as the McKinsey 7S Model defines the seven components that encompass an "organization" and that by changing any one of the "S" components there is impact on the other "S" components.

The Seven "S" components are:

  1. Strategy - Where are we transitioning to?
  2. Skills - How ready and competent are the staff based on where we are heading?
  3. Shared values - Buy in for our transition?
  4. Structure - What organization is the "best fit" for our transition?
  5. Systems - What systems are used to support the transition?
  6. Staff - Committed resources to make it all work?
  7. Style - How are we getting from here to there?
