The old L.B. Software Consultants staff and services merged with VICOM Infinity in 2007. We continue to provide all of the services and support of the prior company.

The current software marketing organization consists of a network of seasoned certified zSeries professionals specializing in a wide range of software including z/OS, CICS TS, IMS, DB2, SOA, application and/or data management tools, and high-level languages. Our consultants provide product education, installation, migration, and exploitation skills to support mainframe SOA e-business and web-enablement projects. We are now an arm of VICOM Infinity, a premier IBM zSeries hardware Business Partner. This allows us to be able to offer and provide total solutions for your SOA and enterprise computing needs.

Many of our services are designed to move you smoothly from initial interest in a product through evaluation and justification to installation. There is no cost to your organization for these services when a new version of CICS TS, IMS, DB2, MQ, or IBM application and/or data management tools, and language compilers is involved.

Migration AssistancePacs (MAPs) tools are available in generic and customized styles to provide the user with a comprehensive task list containing 'how-to' information for each task, staff assignments and estimated hours based on skill levels. The MAP can be furthered customized to add install/migration tasks for over 100 Independent Software Vendors products as well as dozens of IBM ancillary products. These tools are no cost to you when a version upgrade is involved.

These MAP tools can be used to provide the basic installation and migration plan, a checklist of required tasks, or a formal project plan. The MAP can be requested in three formats, EXCEL, HTML and MS Project. A MAP order can only be processed with the pre-authorization of VICOM Infinity/LB Software and a version upgrade is involved.
